Mumbai, January 22nd, 2025: Amity University Maharashtra, Mumbai has made history by setting the Guinness World Record for the “Largest Commercial Advertising Production Lesson.” The 1 hour and 4-minute session delivered by Dr. Nima John, Officiating Head of Institute of Amity School of communication (ASCO) and Amity film School, More than 399 registrations 23 teams were amongst the participation for the record that started with the mentoring session on the Advertisement production.
Mr. Swapnil Dangarikar, official adjudicator from the Guinness book of world records officially declared the world record achievement, prompting a thunderous round of applause from the audience. The event was supervised by 16 stewards and three official witnesses as per the required guidelines. The specialist witness panel included Dr. Vinod Indurkar, Dr. Ambrish Saxena, and Mr. Santosh Thundiyil. The official certificate was received by the Hon’ble Vice Chancellor Dr. A.W. Santhosh Kumar.
This achievement marks a first of its kind in the history— an educational institution has set a Guinness World Record, by the Amity University Mumbai Maharashtra proudly securing this prestigious recognition. The success was created possible through the steadfast support of Founder President Dr. Ashok Chauhan, Chancellor Dr. Aseem Chauhan, Vice Chancellor Prof. A. W. Santosh Kumar, and Officiating HOI Dr. Nima John.
The event was also adjudged by Mr. Abhinay Deo, renowned AD-Filmmaker, and Mr. Santosh Thundiyil, acclaimed Director of Photography who selected the accolade winning advertisement films created by the students.
Hon’ble Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. A. W. Santosh Kumar, expressed his delight at this historic milestone. He praised the dedication and hard work of the Amity School of Communication (ASCO) team for their exceptional efforts and acknowledged the guidance of Hon’ble Chancellor.
As the event came to a close, the room was filled with a festive energy. The Guinness World Records team officially recognized the attempt as successful, marking a significant achievement for everyone involved. The day also showcased a variety of cultural performances, celebrating the diverse talents of Amity’s students. The program concluded with a prize distribution ceremony.
